Arun Rapid Response Craft do not rely on a floatation collar to provide initial stability, however all models are fitted with Air Backed Foam Hybrid collars which consist of an internal air bladder, closed cell fire retardant foam enclosed within a 3 part urethane coated polymer sheath.
If the bladder is punctured, the collar cannot be deflated, the foam and collar remain fully functional.
The Arun 925 is constructed in accordance with ISO 6185 – 4; 2001, the European Union directives 94/25/EC and 2003/44/EC, Transport Canada regulations TP 1332 and TP 9247 and the Small Craft Safety Regulations of the U.S. Coast Guard.
